Hello, moms! I’m Trish Kasey, creator of Mom’s Score Bee - a place designed to help moms feel confident talking sports with their kids. I’m a proud mom to Corey and Cameron, and Gigi to Westin, who always keeps us on our toes!
When Cameron first picked up a baseball, our family’s weekends quickly filled with games, practices, and tournaments in just about every sport — baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, and football. Along the way, I discovered how much sports can connect parents and kids, not just on the sidelines but in everyday conversations.
That’s what inspired Mom’s Score Bee: a fun, approachable resource for moms who want to follow the action, spark conversations, and share in the excitement of sports. Whether you’re brand new to the game or already know your way around the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, or NCAA, this site is here to be your go-to (and maybe even your BFF) for the latest sports stories.
Mom’s Score Bee started at the ballpark as a fun way for me to keep track of my son’s games. What began as scribbles on scratch paper turned into a little scorekeeping book — and eventually this website, where I share simple tips and stories to help moms feel more connected through sports.
I don’t claim to know everything about sports (I’m still always asking questions!), but I love finding fun ways to spark conversations and create memories. Mom’s Score Bee is my personal passion project — a space where moms can share a laugh, pick up a sports nugget or two, and keep the conversation going with their kids.
And just so you know where our allegiances lie: I’m a proud Texas Longhorn (Hook ’em), my husband went to Duke (Go Blue Devils), and my son is a University of Alabama grad (Roll Tide). As a family, we follow the Denver Broncos, all Philly teams especially Eagles and Phillies, the Arizona Diamondbacks - and a few others that don’t always make sense. That’s the fun of sports!
